The owners of the venue were incredibly helpful and checked in with us frequently throughout the whole process. "AMAZING VENUE! I had my dream wedding here. Working with the owners and the property manager was so incredibly easy. They were understanding, flexible, and accommodating to my needs, and replied very quickly to emails. They also had a ton of info and resources. This is a very DYI venue, and while the folks who run it had a lot of help to offer, you definitely will need help from your friends and family to coordinate everything (setting up the venue, coordinating parking, etc). However, you can definitely expect support from the property manager! I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a true rural Vermont, rustic wedding. The views are unbeatable, the price is reasonable, and the venue itself is charming. Free tables and chairs, parking, and a variety of materials available for your use also make this a great deal!"

"My husband (to be) and I fell in love with the location. The location lives up to its name. Surrounded by nature with beautiful, expansive views of the Green Mountains, we knew we wanted to exchange our vows here. The dining hall is rustic but was able to transform with a little decoration and imagination. We - and 80 some odd guests - camped out after the ceremony at the top of the hill and despite the rain were able to keep the celebration going thanks to the lean-toos. The owners were responsive and were receptive to our ideas and requests for the venue. We would get married here again in a heartbeat."

"Sky Acres is a spectacular setting for any event, large or intimate. The view from the top of the hill is breath-taking and provides an incredible back-drop for a ceremony. The Pavilion is comfortable and inviting and full of rustic charm. It is great to be able to have a fire in the gorgeous stone fire place. Having floor to ceiling glass panels on three sides allows in so much light and the beautiful scenery. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for a caterer. And it's great that the building is handicap accessible. Sky Acres has a wonderful mix of country intimacy and scenic views with all the amenities needed for hosting a large group. I would definitely recommend using Sky Acres for a small to moderately-sized wedding, a family reunion, a birthday, graduation party or similar event!"
